The wood used to craft our BBQ shelter kits is of the highest quality, and being pressure-treated, it can last for up to four times longer than untreated alternatives, which usually can only withstand 10-12 years of use.

The best way to maximise the lifespan of your wooden BBQ shelter from Pheasant & Co., is to give it a good clean with a mild cleaning detergent and a gentle pressure washer once or twice a year to eliminate algae, mould and mildew buildups.

Re-staining or re-sealing the timber once a year during the summer will also add an extra layer of protection against harsh UV rays.

It’s important to note that, being natural timber products, our BBQ shelters may vary in colour, and may move, shrink and swell. You can rest assured that this is normal timber behaviour, and it should be expected when you invest in any wooden furniture piece for your garden.
