Which pergolas can I choose from at Pheasant & Co?

Here at Pheasant & Co., we have a range of different pergolas that make the perfect additions to any garden.

You can choose from a:

  • Wooden pergola with a roof and sides – these types of garden pergolas are perfect if you’re looking to create a cosy outdoor seating area, and provide protection from the elements, to relax and unwind.
  • Wooden pergola with a roof – if you’re looking for a seamless extension from your back door out into your garden, or to create a pathway from one building to another, these are the ideal pergolas.
How long do wooden pergolas last?

The answer to this question depends on a couple of different factors, including the type and quality of the materials used, the climate and how well you take care of it.

Here at Pheasant & Co., we only use the highest quality, pressure-treated timber for our pergola kits, which has the potential to last for up to 40 years (!) compared to untreated wood, which only lasts around 10-12 years at best.

To maximise the lifespan of your wooden pergola from Pheasant & Co., and get your money’s worth, give it a good clean once or twice annually with a mild detergent and gentle pressure washer to eliminate algae, mould and mildew build-ups. 

You should also re-seal or re-stain during the summer to further protect the timber from harsh UV rays.

Are pergola kits from Pheasant & Co easy to build?

One of the best bits about our pergola kits is how easy they are to put together.

They include all the parts you’ll need that are pre-cut to size, so all you have to do is screw them together.

Most of our kits require 2 people to be able to build and can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

Included in all of our self-assembly kits is also a set of instructions, with simple step-by-steps to guide you through the building process.
